Deborah’s past community interests also extended to involvement with the Board of Directors for Development Thunder Bay, a non-profit corporation that provides support to existing local businesses. Deborah further contributed to the community by participating on the Board of Directors for the Northwestern Ontario Technology Centre, an incubator for start-up technology businesses seeking to become established in Thunder Bay.
Currently, one of Deborah’s focuses is training for Boards of Directors of non-profit organizations. Deborah enjoys helping Boards to understand the significance of their role in leading the organization.
